Starlink Mini DC Extension Cable with Volt and Amp Display

MINI-DC-DCF-VA

Extend the Starlink Mini DC cable without removing the dish from the kickstand — and see exactly what your power source is doing on the inline volt and amp display.

This is a purpose-built DC extension cable for the Starlink Mini. One end is a DC5521 male plug shaped to slot directly into the Starlink Mini kickstand socket. The other end is a DC5521 female socket that accepts the original Starlink Mini power cable, your 12V cig-socket lead, your power station output, or any third-party DC source. In between sits an inline LED display that shows real-time voltage and current draw.

Key features

  • True DC-to-DC extension: DC5521 male plug into the dish, DC5521 female socket on the source side. No USB-C, no adapters, no fuss — it plugs in line with the cable you already use.
  • Inline volt and amp display: A clear LED readout shows live voltage (V) and current (A) so you can confirm at a glance that your battery, power station or 12V source is delivering what the Mini needs.
  • Skip the unmount: The custom plug profile matches the kickstand socket, so you can extend or swap power sources without unclipping the dish from the kickstand. Less wear on the connector, less fiddling at camp.
  • 18AWG copper conductors: Thick, low-impedance wire keeps voltage drop minimal so the Mini gets clean power, even from longer runs to a battery box or van DC fuse panel.
  • Waterproof gasketed plug and socket: Both ends are sealed against dust and moisture for outdoor and weather-exposed installs on roof racks, awnings and roof boxes.
  • Flexible PVC jacket: Heat resistant and built for repeated coiling, UV exposure and general trail abuse.

How the display reads

Power flowing in the standard direction — from the DC male plug into the female socket as an extension cable — drives both the voltage and current readouts. Used in reverse to feed the Starlink Mini from the female-socket side, the display shows voltage only.

What you can power it from

  • Standard 12V cig-socket leads via a DC5521 plug
  • Portable power stations with a DC5521 output (most EcoFlow, Jackery, Bluetti, Anker models)
  • The original Starlink Mini power brick (extend the existing cable)
  • A 12V battery box or fuse panel terminated in a DC5521 plug
  • Solar generators and any standard DC source on the universal DC5521 socket

In the field

Built for Australian touring conditions. Run the dish on the roof, mount it to a magnetic base on the bonnet or set it up on a tripod next to camp — and keep the inline display somewhere you can glance at it to confirm the power side of the setup is healthy before you walk away.

Compatibility

Designed exclusively for the Starlink Mini. The DC plug profile is shaped to match the Mini kickstand socket. Not compatible with the standard Starlink, the high-performance dish, or earlier generations.
