Customer Rigs

Most of what people want to know before buying a mount is what it looks like on a vehicle that is not a studio mock-up: which mount, where it sits, how the cable runs, and whether it survived the trip it was bought for.

So we publish real setups. If you run an Outcamp mount, send us your rig and we will add it here with the details that would have helped you decide.

What to send

• Two or three photos in daylight: the whole vehicle, a close-up of the mount, and the power connection.
• Vehicle make, model and year.
• Which mount and which power supply you are using.
• What you actually use it for — work, touring, caravan, boat — and the trips it has done.
• One thing that worked better than expected, and one thing you would change.

What we publish

Your first name and state, the photos, and the setup details. We do not publish email addresses, phone numbers or number plates, and we do not edit a review to sound better than it was. If something did not work, that is the most useful part of the story.

We do not write testimonials ourselves. Every rig on this page comes from an owner who sent it in.
