Outcamp Adjustable Rear Window Suction Mount | Dual Cab Ute & Wagon | Australia

OC-MINMNT-001-L-1

ARM LENGTH: LONG - 150mm

Get your Starlink Mini up, levelled and online in two minutes — no drilling, no roof racks, no compromise.

The Outcamp Adjustable Rear Window Suction Mount fixes the dish to the rear glass of your dual-cab ute or 4WD wagon using a heavy-duty triple-suction tripod base, then locks it at the perfect skyward angle with a fully adjustable arm. Your Mini sits sheltered behind the cabin — out of the wind, out of the gravel, and exactly where it needs to be for a clean line to the sky.

Built for the way Aussies actually tour

  • 4WD wagons — designed specifically for the rear window of the Toyota LandCruiser (76, 78, 100, 200 and 300 Series), Toyota Prado (120, 150 and 250 Series), Nissan Patrol (Y61, Y62), Mitsubishi Pajero, Pajero Sport, Ford Everest, Isuzu MU-X and Toyota Fortuner
  • Dual cab utes — HiLux, Ranger, Triton, BT-50, Navara, D-Max, Amarok, and 79 Series with canopies, the rear window is the perfect spot once you add a canopy or hardtop
  • Caravanners and campervan tourers — pack down in under a minute, move it from the tow vehicle to the van panel at the next overnight
  • Tradies on remote jobs — set up at the worksite, take it home at smoko, no permanent install to argue about with the boss

The triple-suction tripod base

Three industrial vacuum cups arranged on a stainless steel triangular plate distribute the dish weight evenly across the glass. Each cup has its own red-line vacuum indicator so you can check the seal at a glance before every leg of a trip. The exhaust-rod operation is a simple two-step: lift the rod vertically, place it against clean glass, and press the rod down to vacuum-lock.

Marine-grade Nylon construction. Stainless steel hardware and triangular connecting plate. Rubber-coated contact pads that will not mark paint or glass.

The adjustable articulating arm

A 1.5" / 38.1mm ball joint sits on top of the suction base. The articulating arm clamps onto that ball and gives you full angular control — pitch, yaw and roll — so the Starlink Mini sits perfectly skyward regardless of how the vehicle is parked. Outcamp's proprietary dish clamp at the end of the arm grips the Mini securely without any modification to the dish housing.

Choose your arm length.

The variant you select determines the length of the articulating arm only — the suction base, ball joint, dish clamp and all other components are identical across all three options. Pick the arm reach that suits your vehicle's rear window geometry and any canopy, bullbar or rear-bar clearance you need to work around.

  • SHORT — 90mm: Compact reach. Best for tighter rear windows, minimum overhang setups, and shorter wagons where the dish can sit close to the glass.
  • LONG — 150mm: Extended reach for clearing rear bars, canopy lips and angled rear windows. Best for full-size 4WD wagons and dual-cab utes with standard canopies.
  • X-LONG — 230mm: Maximum reach for deep canopies, high-mounted rear bars, ladder racks, or where you need the dish well clear of the cabin and any roof-mounted gear. Best for utes with extended canopies, tray-tops with canopy boxes, and full-size wagons running heavy roof loads.

Frequently asked

Will the suction cups damage my window or paint?
No — the contact faces are rubber-coated and pull off cleanly. We recommend wiping the surface down with a clean microfibre before each install for the best seal.

Can I drive with the mount in place?
Yes — the triple-cup tripod base is rated for in-motion use on smooth glass at highway speeds. Best practice is to glance at the red-line indicators on all three cups before each leg of a trip and re-pump the exhaust rod if any indicator has shifted. For corrugated outback tracks, we recommend pulling over and stowing the dish in the cabin.

Which arm length should I pick?
If your rear window sits close to the cabin and you have no rear bar or canopy in the way, go SHORT (90mm). If you have a standard canopy or rear bar to clear, LONG (150mm) is the safe middle ground and suits most full-size 4WD wagons and standard canopied utes. Pick X-LONG (230mm) if you have a deep extended canopy, a high ladder rack, or you need the dish well clear of any roof-mounted gear.

Important — please read: Suction mounts require routine checks. Inspect the seal on all three cups before driving and at every fuel stop. The customer is responsible for ensuring the mount remains securely attached at all times. Outcamp is not liable for damage caused by mount failure due to dirty surfaces, perished suction cups, or failure to inspect.
