Your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket must support at least 144W output (12V/12A) to deliver full power from this adapter. Most 4WDs, trucks, and caravans with heavy-duty accessory sockets meet this requirement. Standard passenger vehicles typically provide 120W-180W.
