Wagga Wagga Caravan Roadshow: 2027 Season

The first roadshow of the 2027 season is in the Riverina. The Wagga Wagga Caravan Roadshow runs 5 to 7 February 2027, bringing the dealer circuit to a part of New South Wales that is a long drive from the Sydney expos.

Who this show is for

Regional shows suit buyers who have already done the reading and want to see three or four specific models in person. They are less useful if you are starting from zero and want to see every option on the market in one day — for that, the capital city supershows are worth the trip.

Wagga is also a practical stop for anyone kitting out a vehicle for the Murray, the high country or the long run west. Accessory sellers at these shows are usually local enough to give real advice about local conditions.

The questions worth asking on the floor

  1. What is the tow ball weight, loaded, not empty?
  2. What is the van's payload margin after water and batteries?
  3. Where are the 12V outlets, and what is the battery capacity?
  4. What is the roof made of, and can it take a rack?
  5. What is the warranty process, and who performs it near home?

The last one is the question people forget and later regret.

If you are adding Starlink

The van roof decides the mount. Steel takes magnets, fibreglass does not, rails take clamps, and a flat panel takes a bolted mount. If you are choosing between a van with a rack and one without, and you plan to run a dish, that choice is easier to make at the show than afterwards.

The Setup Finder works through it in three questions, and the events calendar has the rest of the 2027 season.

No sealed roads, no servo, and a barge that will not wait. Here is how to do Mulgumpin properly in spring, from permits to the best camp on the western beach.

Hard sand under the tyres, humpbacks resting in the bay beyond the headland — a spring run to K'gari is the trip that earns its place on the calendar.

Frosty mornings, granite boulders and a fireside cellar door at every turn — Queensland's highest wine region is at its best when the rest of the state is in shorts.

Red dirt, artesian baths and the open road—the Adventure Way is the ultimate winter 4WD trek through Outback Queensland to the edge of the desert.

A big number on the box does not mean a big night of power. Here is how usable capacity, inverter loss and surge ratings decide what your caravan can actually run.

A fridge that copes fine in winter can fail badly at 40 degrees. Most of the fixes cost nothing — and one of them is a five-minute check behind the vent.

No bars at the free camp doesn't have to be part of the deal. Here's how to mount and power a Starlink Mini on your van so it works every time you stop.

A seized caravan bearing ends a trip faster than anything else on the rig. It is also one of the few failures you can spot a week early with the back of your hand.
