No oven, no coals, no washing up. Four jars of lemon and passionfruit cheesecake that set themselves in the fridge while you are out doing something better.
No pan, no scrubbing, no plates chasing around camp. Everything goes into a foil parcel, the coals do the work, and dinner's open in ten minutes flat.
Nine minutes, one pan, and enough feed to get four people down the track. Bacon, sweetcorn and eggs doing the work while the billy boils beside it.
Skin-on snapper straight off the coals, lemon charred until it turns sweet, and a slaw that does the heavy lifting. Twenty minutes and one bowl to wash.
